Purpose

Create a project that helps solves a problem that afflicts you, your peers, or your community through software that applies or relates with any field of science. Participants will apply programming skills in innovative projects, varying from physics simulations to advances in biotech. This hackathon welcomes grade levels ranging from 9-12 and all programming skill levels from beginners to advanced!

Projects

Participants will be able to create a project using science and technology to solve a problem of their choice. The scale and importance of the topic is up to the participant, and all types of ideas are welcome.

Any student from grades 8-12 are welcome to join as a participant! You may also consider signing up as a Judge or Mentor.

How many people can be on a team?

You can work in groups of up to 4 or compete solo.

How much does joining cost?

Joining Hack The Lab is free of expenses!

Make sure you have a computer with stable internet connection, zoom, and are in our discord server (linked at the top right corner of this website).
